Stromectol
(Ivermectin) – is an antiparasitic, antifungal medication
that is used for treating infections caused by certain parasites. Stromectol
(Ivermectin) kills certain types of parasitic
organisms in the human body and is mainly used to treat infections caused by
these parasites.
Indication for use
Stromectol (Ivermectin) can be taken by almost all adults and children
over 5 who have:

Parasitic
skin infections,

Parasitic
nematodes intestinal infections,
·
Pinworm infection,
·
Parasitic
filariasis worm infection,
·
Inflammatory
disease,
·
Parasitic
skin infections,
·
Parasitic
hair infections.
Precautions
Stromectol (Ivermectin) is not
recommended to use if you have: an allergy to Ivermectin; problems with liver; hypersensitivity; CNS
disorders; have period of lactation or you are
pregnant. It is not also recommended to drink alcohol beverages within the
period of treatment.
Dose and usage
Dose of Stromectol (Ivermectin): 3 mg, 6 mg, 12 mg white
round flat tablets.
Before taking this
medication consult with your attending physician only he/she can prescribe you
the right dose of medication.
The dose of 3 mg
is calculated in the next way: weight
15-24kg -1 tablet, 25-35 – 2 tablets, 36-50 – 3 tablets, 51-65 – 4 tablets,
66-79 – 5 tablets, more than 80 kg – 200mcg. The dose of Stromectol (Ivermectin) according your weight is taken just once.
Side
effects
As any others medications Stromectol
(Ivermectin) can have in some cases side effects such as: dizziness,
loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain or bloating,
diarrhea, constipation, weakness, drowsiness, uncontrolled
shaking of a body part, chest discomfort,
swelling of the eyes, face, hands, arms, legs, ankles,
or lower extremities, joint pain and swelling.
Tell
your doctor if you have some side effects or your condition worsens.
