Cleocin (Clindamycin) Cream is an antibiotic of the group of linkosamides. It has a wide spectrum of activity that inhibits protein synthesis in an infected cell. Cleocin can cope with many bacterial infections as in internal the same as in external organs. Clindamycin cream or gel can also help in the treatment of such an unpleasant disease as acne or teen acne. It fights directly with staph bacteria that cause acne.
Indication for use
Cleocin (Clindamycin) Cream can be taken by almost all adults and teenagers over 12 who suffer from acne, phlegmon, boils, impetigo, infected wounds, panaritium, abscesses, erysipelas.
Precautions
Cleocin (Clindamycin) Cream is not recommended to use if you have called enteritis, Crohn’s disease, eczema or other skin problems, an intestinal disorder, individual intolerance or hypersensitivity to clindamycin. In case of pregnancy or period of lactation you have to apply the cream only under doctor’s control.
Dose and usage
Cleocin (Clindamycin) Cream – 30 mg, light yellow substance with low odour.
Cleocin (Clindamycin) acne cream is used pointwise. It is applied directly to the inflamed area 2-3 times a day, and not on the entire surface of the skin, as it can cause dryness and irritation.
Side effects
The possibility of side effects is minimal. But sometimes some health disorders can occur. These are: itching, redness, irritation and dryness of skin, stomach ache, diarrhea, headache.
