Remeron (Mirtazapine)
The pills of Remeron come in round or elongated shapes of white, yellow or pink colors depending on the dosage and the producer. The usual dosage for one tablet, which contains mirtazapine, is 30 mg. The drug belongs to the group of antidepressant means. The active component is mirtazapine.
Pharmacological use
Remeron is a tetracyclic antidepressant with a predominantly sedative effect. The drug is most effective in depressive conditions with the presence of symptoms such as disability to experience joy and delight, sleep disturbances, psychomotor inhibition, loss of interest and weight changes, as well as other symptoms like suicidal thoughts and diurnal mood swings. The antidepressant effect of the drug Remeron usually occurs after 1-2 weeks of treatment.

This drug has a set of adverse effects for health if used any differently from doctor’s prescriptions. Adverse effects can be various, for example:
– hives;
– spasms;
– neutropenia;
– vomiting;
– decreased potency;
– retardation;
– edematous syndrome.
This antidepressant negatively affects the degree of concentration. You cannot combine taking Remeron and alcohol since the drug will enhance the depressive effect of drinking alcohol.
